Weekend Book Giveaway: The Darkest Part of the Forest

This week we have a special treat for all you Holly Black fans…a beautiful brand new hardback of her newest book The Darkest Part of the Forest.  This book is so pretty I just had to sit here and hold it for a minute and look at it:

What’s it about?  From the publisher:

Hazel lives with her brother, Ben, in the strange town of Fairfold where humans and fae exist side by side. The faeries’ seemingly harmless magic attracts tourists, but Hazel knows how dangerous they can be, and she knows how to stop them. Or she did, once. At the center of it all, there is a glass coffin in the woods. It rests right on the ground and in it sleeps a boy with horns on his head and ears as pointy as knives. Hazel and Ben were both in love with him as children. The boy has slept there for generations, never waking. Until one day, he does…

Dying to read it?  All our copies are checked out…but one lucky teen will get a chance to get their own copy to keep.   Just tell me this:  When you were a child, what was the most magical thing you imagined to be real?  (A game you played?  A favorite toy you imagined was alive?  ???)

Winner will be selected by Random Number Generator on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 (I’m going out of town for the big librarian convention). Be sure to leave a name with your entry, and check back to see if you won. To win you must be a teen (6th-12th grade, or age 12-18) who uses a Sno-Isle Library.

Looking forward to hearing how imaginative y’all were as kids!
