Top 3 Right Now: Elizabeth

This week we are featuring the energetic and enthusiastic Elizabeth, owner of many awesome dresses and great librarian glasses! A woman so fashionable, she can make a shark hat look stylin’!

So Elizabeth, what are your Top 3 Right Now?

In Real Life by Cory Doctorow and Jen Wang

Anda is an awkward girl who goes home from school, logs into Coardsgold Online, and becomes a totally gorgeous, battle axe wielding, butt kicking lady HERO. As someone who has spent waaay more time playing MMOs than I would like to admit, this was a must read for me. Plus, it’s absolute eye candy!

Firebug by Lish McBride

I loved Hold Me Closer, Necromancer. So when I heard Lish McBride was writing a new novel about a teenaged assassin who starts fires with her mind I knew I was going to love it! Firebug is a quirky, action packed read full of dark humor and just the right amount of snark.

Fig by Sarah Elizabeth Schantz

Sometimes, I love to have my heart broken. Fig is a searing look at mental illness- both having it and loving someone who does. The writing is poetic and brilliant, and the characters are so real I feel like I could reach through the pages and touch them.“

Thanks so much Elizabeth! I hadn’t heard about Fig…sounds amazing!

If you would like to be featured on our T3RN, email and include:

  • The titles of the three books that teens would enjoy (they can be published for any age group).
  • One or two sentences describing what it is about each book that has you in its grip right now.
  • A photo of yourself.  If you are shy you can use an avatar, but you can also have a lot of fun with this.  We like wacky!

Next week: maybe you?
