Tuesday August 30th

Explore Summer: Super-Sized Soccer 2:00 PM – Sultan Library

Join us at Osprey Park for Super-sized soccer! Team up with others to test your soccer skills with our super-sized inflatable soccer ball. Snacks will also be provided. If rain should happen, we will be in the city meeting room across from the Sultan Library with board games and crafts. For ages 9-16. Supported by Friends of the Sultan Library.

Teen Gaming 3:30 PM – Monroe Library

Teens! Drop in for some video games on our Wii and Wii U! Mario Cart, Smash Brothers, Nintendoland and more! We’ve got board and card games too. Supported by Friends of the Monroe Library.

Explore Summer Finale Field Day Fun 1:00 PM – Darrington Library

Bring in those last minute Explore Summer Logs and join us for classic field day games like egg races, sack races and more. Celebrate your summer reading success. For school-aged children. Funded by Darrington Friends of the Library.

Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers 4:30 PM – Monroe Library

Calling all teen writers! Looking for a supportive place to share your writing? Join the Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers and get feedback and guidance from your peers, a published author, and library staff. All writers in grades 6-12 are welcome.

Teen Advisory Board (TAB) Meeting 4:30 PM – Mukilteo Library

Meet new people, discuss teen concerns, help develop library programs, and talk about books — all while earning volunteer credits and having fun! Snacks provided. Pick up a TAB application at the Information Desk.

Saturday, September 3rd

Community Service Volunteers 10:30 AM – Mukilteo Library

Middle school students (grades 6-8) can earn Community Service credit by helping out at the Mukilteo Library. We will prepare crafts for library programs and displays, pick up and clean up, sort books, and more. No need to sign up — all are welcome! Meet in the teen area of the library on the first Saturday of each month for one hour (10:30-11:30am) from September through May.
