Gadget Building with Littlebits: 3:00 Monroe Library

March is Teen Tech Month! Explore the littleBits electronics kit and see what you can build. Try out one of the design challenges or unleash your creativity and invent something new. Come to the library to use Ozobots, robots that you can program to race and follow directions.

Makey Makey: 4:00 PM Edmonds Library

It is Teen Tech Month so come play with our Makey Makeys and discover all the things you can make it can do. These invention kits can turn everyday objects into computer keyboards. Create your own video game controller with play-doh or use bananas as piano keys!

Calling all teen writers! Looking for a supportive place to share your writing? Join the Junior Monroe Wednesday Writers and get feedback and guidance from your peers, a published author and library staff. All writers in grades 6-12 are welcome.

Friday, March 27th 

The Ultimate Marshmallow Battle Catapult Challenge: 3:00 PM Lake Stevens

The battle is on! Join fellow marshmallow engineers and construct catapults to knock down mighty paper-cup fortresses and feed the hungry dragon. Prizes will be awarded to the team whose marshmallow catapult displays the most strength and accuracy. Ages 9-13.
