Sno-Isle Libraries statement and resources on racism

The tragic death of George Floyd in Minneapolis combined with current events in our region and across the country present yet another opportunity to examine racism in the U.S.

Public libraries provide resources that help us explore our past, present, and future and build awareness and knowledge. We have gathered for you lists of resources on topics ranging from exploring the history of race in America to materials on anti-racism.

As a community organization made up of community members, Sno-Isle Libraries is actively engaging in efforts related to equity, diversity and inclusion. We are demonstrating our commitment through the adoption of policies, practices, and access to resources that provide opportunities for every person in our community and organization to thrive.
