Sno-Isle Libraries names new managers for Darrington, Snohomish

Sno-Isle Libraries has named new managers of its libraries in Snohomish and Darrington.

Darlene Weber is new interim manager of Snohomish Library. She replaces Rebecca Loney, who is now Sno-Isle Libraries director of technical services.

For the last seven years, Weber was managing librarian of Mill Creek Library. She has been with Sno-Isle Libraries since 2000. A graduate of Central Washington University, Weber also earned a master’s degree in library and information science from the University of Washington. Her honors include the Public Library Association New Leader Award and Sno-Isle Libraries Trustee Award.

Asheley Bryson is new interim manager of Darrington Library. She replaces Bryan Stratton, who is now circulation supervisor at Lake Stevens Library.

Bryson has worked at Darrington Library since 2008 as a public services assistant. A graduate of the College of DuPage, she has also studied at Skagit Valley College.
