You may be wondering what is happening behind-the-scenes as we make our final preparations to start new contact-free services through your community libraries.
We are staging libraries with face coverings, gloves, and sanitizing materials for your protection and the safety of our staff. As you might expect, those personal protective items have been in short supply and we’ve had to wait for deliveries. But now, they are here.
Library staff will be using these supplies soon to process previously reserved library materials (before the library closures) as we prepare to provide them again to library customers in a contact-free process.
We’ve been working to provide you with a wider selection of print and digital titles, as well. There will be more copies to reduce your wait times for the most popular authors and titles.
We’ve appreciated your patience and want you to know that we’ve been busy behind-the-scenes working to get the library ready for your return. Please stay tuned for just a while longer for our announcement when these services will be available.
