Sno-Isle Libraries gets three visits from Digital Bookmobile in October

The Digital Bookmobile National Tour will stop at Sno-Isle Libraries community libraries in Snohomish on Oct. 15, Mariner on Oct. 16, and Marysville on Oct. 17. All visits will start at 10 a.m. and end at 4 p.m.

The Digital Bookmobile will visit three Sno-Isle Libraries community libraries in October.

Learn about all of the digital offerings Sno-Isle Libraries offers through OverDrive, including ebooks, audiobooks, The Great Courses, magazines, movies, children’s stories and activities. Digital Bookmobile events are free and open to readers of all ages. Sno-Isle Libraries and Overdrive staff will guide visitors through the easy process of borrowing digital books.

Readers with a valid library card can borrow their favorite titles anytime online by visiting sno-isle.org/digitalmedia or by downloading the library’s one-tap reading app, Libby, powered by OverDrive.

Sign up for a Sno-Isle Libraries library card with current photo identification. Sno-Isle Libraries staff members will be in the Digital Bookmobile to sign up new customers and resolve any library card issues.

People get hands-on experience with digital library materials inside the Digital Bookmobile.

The Digital Bookmobile has everything a reader needs to get started. Popular devices, including Apple iPhones and iPads, Android phones and tablets, Google Chromebook laptops and Amazon Kindle e-readers fill the Gadget Gallery for visitors to browse digital services through Sno-Isle Libraries.

Visitors can learn how to enhance their reading experience with tips and tricks from the experts, including how to sort and filter searches, create notes and highlights, manage your holds, tag titles and more. The Libby app lets users download and read or listen instantly from virtually any smartphone, tablet or computer.
