Sno-Isle Libraries partners with the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office to help voters make sure their ballots count.
The deadline for the Snohomish County primary election is Tuesday, Aug. 6.
Postage-paid mail-in ballots must be postmarked by Aug. 6 or placed in an official ballot drop box before 8 p.m. on Election Day at a Sno-Isle Libraries community library in Arlington, Darrington, Edmonds, Granite Falls, Monroe, Mountlake Terrace, Mukilteo, Snohomish and Stanwood.
Voters may also leave completed ballots at the Snohomish County Auditor’s Office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays, or 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day. Prospective voters can register to vote in person at the auditor’s office between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays through Election Day. Registered voters can update their address in person during the same hours. The auditor’s office is located at 3000 Rockefeller Ave., Everett.
Registered voters who did not received a ballot by July 24 should call the auditor’s office at 425-388-3444.
Voters with disabilities can use accessible voting equipment in the auditor’s office from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. weekdays and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day. Accessible voting equipment will also be available at the Lynnwood Library from 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 5, and 8 a.m.-8 p.m. on Election Day.
Because there were no contests in which three or more candidates filed for a position, Island County voters will not cast ballots until the Nov. 5 general election.
