Island County posts voter guide information

Island County voters participating in the April 24 special election can find additional election information for the Sno-Isle Libraries operations levy ballot measure through the Online Voter’s Guide on the Island County Auditor’s election website at

“We appreciate the Auditor’s Office in helping to inform voters,” Sno-Isle Libraries Executive Director Jonalyn Woolf-Ivory said.

To access the information, go to the Island County Auditor’s election website and click on Online Voter’s Guide on the left side. Once on the voter’s guide page, click on “Proposition Number 1 – Levy Rate Proposition” under the Sno Isle Library District header to reveal the ballot measure language. In addition, the Explanatory Statement and Arguments for and Against are available. Clicking either the explanatory statement or the for/against arguments will reveal additional information.

Information on campaign finances associated with any citizen groups working in support or opposition to this measure is available via the Washington State Public Disclosure Commission website at
