Fresh Disney titles make for magical summer viewing

Sno-Isle Libraries recently opened its own version of the Disney Vault and updated its existing Disney and Pixar movie catalog with brand-new copies.

Consider it good timing, since the fourth installment of Pixar Studios’ much-beloved and critically acclaimed “Toy Story” franchise opens June 20.

“We identified almost 300 high-use Disney DVD items and were able to replace them with new copies on a quick turnaround,” said Jessica Russell, collection services manager for Sno-Isle Libraries. “We made sure to replace items like the ‘Toy Story’ series ahead of the summer release of ‘Toy Story 4.’”

All of the new Disney and Pixar DVDs are available in community libraries right now, or available to stream on Hoopla, Russell said.

“Hopefully it’s making for a magical Disney summer for our customers,” she said.
