Thoughts on Reading a Book Again

by Stacey

Originally, I was going to title this post better the second time around.  As I contemplated books I have reread and questioned other readers, it came to light, not necessarily better, but a different experience.

Many of us reread books we read as a teen, often as required reading.

Revisiting as an adult  gives a whole new perspective. Books that come to mind are To Kill a Mockingbird, Slaughterhouse 5, Fahrenheit 451.

One reader reflected on cult classics such as On the Road and Hunter Thompson’s novels. Books that were first read because everyone was reading.

Others revisited books hoping to recapture the wonder of the first reading.

Here are smattering of titles suggested by my colleagues.
