LibraryReads List November 2018

by Lindsey A.

Well! October flew by. This publishing season has given us a cornucopia of treasures. I’ve been reading nonstop. Maybe that’s why the month seemed so short!

LibraryReads features some exciting titles in their latest list of librarian-picked books releasing this month. Not only do we get new installments to popular series (Chief Inspector GamacheJack Reacher, No. 1 Ladies’ Detective Agency) and fresh titles from big name authors (Liane Moriarty, Elizabeth Berg), we’re seeing more diversity than usual. A satirical story about a Nigerian nurse and her serial killer sister (My Sister, the Serial Killer), a short story collection by award-winning author N. K. Jemisin (How Long ’til Black Future Month?), a Mughal India-inspired young adult retelling of Mulan (Empire of Sand) sweeping saga about sisters separated by the Korean War (The Kinship of Secrets), a mystery set in Tokyo (The Newcomer)… sign me up!

Are you looking forward to any of these titles? Let us know in the comments!
