LibraryReads List November 2017

Thankful for transporting reads

It’s November– time to be thankful! I’m thankful for fluffy blankets, snuggling cats and new fall books. The perfect autumn activity!

Books that transport me to another place or time– so that I can travel without disturbing the cats– earn double gratitude. The November 2017 LibraryReads list delivers. Travel to a city on the moon, coastal Ireland, a dystopian future, wartime Iceland, or Little House on the Prairie this month!

I’m currently in a fantastical 18th century Cairo, hanging out with one tough heroine. I’m definitely suggesting The City of Brass to fans of the Tearling and Ember in the Ashes series. Where are you headed?

I love the history of the paleo Indians. Michael Gear and wife write this series-yes series of books and it transports you to the beginning of when people migrated from the frozen grounds to warmer climates for survival. The discovery of fire, grains, agriculture and engineering. Travel through time with your cup of coffee and cats on your lap.
